Hi! I’m Maryam Hmz, a hijab designer and seasoned freelancer, illustrator, and creative writer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I specialise in designing hijabs backed by compelling stories and meaning.

With over a decade of experience in the creative field, my journey began as a graduate architect, evolving into a dynamic career encompassing graphic design, freelance illustration, writing, and art direction.

In between running after my two kids, I also dabble in social media management, copywriting, lettering, and hijab styling.

When I’m not working or being a homebody bookworm, I consider myself an intrepid traveler, always fuelled by the excitement of mapping my next big adventure. My wanderlust-infused spirit breathes life into my designs, infusing them with a sense of curiosity and exploration.
